ABOUT MARION

Marion is a motivational speaker dedicated to empowering identity transformation through study abroad, travel, and life transitions. Her passion for international experiences began as a teenager when she moved from California to Australia. This journey ignited her curiosity about identity, culture, belonging, the concept of home, and the question, "Where are you from? " It challenged her to adapt quickly, embrace resiliency, and step confidently beyond her comfort zone. 

Fluent in German and French, Marion holds a minor in Sociology from the University of Tasmania, Australia where she studied migrant communities. She also spent ten years as a substitute teacher across two counties in the Central Florida area and now works at a major hospital in Florida. 

 
Marion's own experiences of home, culture shock, adapting to new cultures, extensive international travel, and learning new languages inspired her keynote presentation and workshops. Now she helps individuals understand how stepping into new cultures can challenge yourself, spark personal growth, and unlock new versions of themselves. 

 
Marion is also an avid landscape and nature photographer, passionate adventure traveler, and aspiring author. She brings the same curiosity and creativity to those explorations as she does to speaking on identity and encouraging study abroad.
